Got it started but i have some questions...

Came with new o rings for the float bowl drain screws and the pilot screws as well. I'll just see what happens when i install my dad's carbs. I'll post a video of it running.

If it's the carbs... you can send yours somewhere to have them rebuilt, or maybe they'll take them on trade, for the correct ones for the bike.
When cleaning your carbs did you blast out ALL the passages with carb cleaner and then with an air gun? If not, you might try that... don't give up!

oh no, im not gonna give up:) I actually got it running like a monster today. I'm going to post another thread because i have some more questions. I pulled the carburetors off of my dad's KZ1000 (same year and everything, all stock) and put them on my bike. It started without the choke after sitting for like a week without running... well running properly anyway. It was totally cold. I was proud of it almost!!

You said that the carb for your bike are off of an 1100, but you put parts from a 1000 in them? You need to use parts for the carbs, not the bike. If your carbs are for a 82 KZ1100, you MUST use the proper parts for those carbs. If you wear a size 11 shoe, a size 8 or 14 won't work right for you!!
