PODS ARE BAD MODS. There are alot of Pod Haters and there are alot of pod heads.Punny Huh. If you didn't rejet it for pods then its not going to help your problem. I am a stocky Jocky. It was made that way by people who spent lots of time and trials to get it to run good stock. Best left alone or buy a Harley. Someone who has had the same problem will be with you shorty.

I just read in another thread that you started that you have not even ridden yet. Why in the hell are you giving advice on something if you don't know what you're doing.

I know a lot of people like to keep their machines stock and I see nothing wrong with that but to suggest that they can't be improved because "people who spent lots of time and trials to get it to run good stock" is an ignorant statement.

remove them and really clean them.
i also agree with timebomb.
clean the pilot circuit. it sure sounds like they are plugged to me.
use compressed air to verify all passages are clean.

and as for pods?
i think that is a no win arguement.
to each his own.
i run both. stock airbox on the 1100 and pods on the 650.
you set them up right and there are pro's and con's with both so it's a no win.

someday i will be able to afford my kz habit.
