I believe it can only be one of 3 things (but I could be wrong). 1. The float tang height is actually set a bit lower than the other 3 carbs. Did you use the clear tube method? If you did and it still leaks see next 2 possibilities 2. The float valve is not seating properly. Remove the little float valve needle and clean it and its seat with carb cleaner or some other non-abrasive cleaner; replace if damaged. 3. The overflow tube in the carb bowl is cracked or lose. Check this while you have the carb bowl off to clean float valve. Ed

Should be 4mm below the top of the bowl.

szczupd, on my KZ650-B1 the Fuel Service Level is spec'ed at:

2.5 to 4 mm
or
0.0984 to 0.180 inches
or
0.01 to 0.18 inches (rounded to nearest 1/100th of an inch)
or
1/100 to 1.8/100th of an inch.
or
Measure against Float Bowl flange reference point (see below):

Best of success. :)

Floats sre too high, float needles are bad , Float feedles have trash in em 4 must have a clogged pilot .. Tha only way they will overflow is float needles leaking or float level too high..If you have the float levels right it shouldn't leak

I don't get it? There's nothing to "figure out." See my reply above, try what I suggest, and your carb won't overflow. Ed
