Just an FYI: the 81 KZ650-CSR doesn't have the handy tubing guide for routing them.

It's been a while & I'm not 100% sure, but I believe one of those lines is an overflow & the other one is for checking the fuel level. On the other 3 carbs, the overflow & fuel level check use the same orifice/nipple.

no im talking about the overflow valves on the bottom, and the second float bowl has 2 so i was wondering if both are overflow but like JMKZHI said it might be the fuel level check. is he correct? if so will fuel leak out of it? do i need to run a tube off of it?

I have tubing on both of those ports.
You could do a test. Raise the tubes above the carbs & blow into them one at a time. The one that's open is the overflow. For the other one, unscrew the drain screw several turns & blow again. If it's now open, then that one would be the fuel level check (or carb drain).

The port nearest to the accelerator pump is the carb overflow (fairly sure - but not positive).

Another interesting difference is that the 81 model doesn't use the triangular vacuum sensor (& the orifice is plugged).
