hey guys im working on a 1981 650 csr and i took apart and cleaned the mikuni vm24ss carborators and i forgot where all the fuel tubing needs to be hooked up for proper flow. is there a diagram that anyone has to show me for some help?

how many spigots are there coming out of the carbs. one large one in the middle should be for the fuel inlet the two out side ones should be bowl vents , vented to the atmosphere and the smaller one to the inside of the right side vent should be for a vacuam fitting for the petcock.

you dont want fuel falling down on a hot motor do you?? id replace them

1978 kz650b pretty much stock

Usually bundled together and routed over the swingarm on right side to exit underneath the bike.

Good Luck! :)

Edit -- not "over" the swingarm, but over rear of engine between engine and swingarm.

The carb overflow tubing & battery vent tubing should be routed behind the engine and forward of the swingarm & centerstand & away from the drive chain.

awesome thanks for the help, i think i have conquered this hurdle. now im having problems with the wiring harness. im posting another post for that problem if any of you would like to help with that!!! :woohoo:
