What kind of gadget is this. It should straddle the IAT sensor and gives you as much as 30 extra HP????? :huh: :huh: Here is the link. Please give opinion.

Well- I just offered the guy $15 for "Best Offer" Let's see what I get.

I knew a guy who sold clear screens to go in front of a black and white TV to turn them into a color TV for $25.

I asked him: "That's an amazing invention.... why do you sell them so cheap?"

His reply:

The aftermarket chips basically reprogram your engine's ECU (electronic control module) and can improve performance if the bike is designed to run lean for smog control. Hence, they are illegal in some states but who is going to check? I don't know how much extra punch you can expect because bike makers are pretty slick at squeezing all the power they can out of the engines.

its gonna be a neatly packaged in a fancy holder resister lol thats all it is. it fools the ecm into thinking its colder then it is hence richens your mixture...save the 15 bucks and buy beer instead

I think you're right because the picture shows it only has two leads and they say it replaces the IAT sensor which is the intake air temp sensor.

I thought this was one of those aftermerket ROM chips that actually reprogram the engine's FI profile and timing advance curve for the engine. But, if it only has two wires, it can't be anything but a resistor.

you guys are correct...it just be a resistor...an ebay oldie....in cars they do everything from nothing
to make check engine lights come on......dont bother...

changed mind still pushing mower, but now have a few cold ones to look forward to on breaks(110 heat index 71 humidity today) lota breaks, and ice cold MGD.
