There are only three types of Mikuni main jets you can use. Even though they are interchangable, most guys prefer the ones with the larger head. The part # is N100.604 You can however use the small head ones also, part #N102/221 The best place to get ANY carburetor part is SUDCO 800-998-3529

believe it or not...I put the carbs, today road the bike...and it was rode very well...no popping at all...But off the line take off power was not were i want it too be, plus it wasn't as powerful as i want it during acceleration....so i will do the jetting, and then a sync! BTW anyone got instruction on doing a carb sync the correct way?

I drilled my primary Main Jets from .024 inch to .026 inch last night. I no longer need to run the choke to get it to run right. I did not drill the secondary main jet since it was at the bottom of the needle valve emulsion tube and would not affect the fuel flow except when the variable venturi was wide open.

I also found an air filter at the local NAPA store that fit right into the original air box. It is part number 7-08300. They listed application as Techumseh 36046. It was only $6 instead of $15 for a 11013-1039 from Kawasaki. I have an OEM part coming so I can do a comparison when it arrives next week.

Here is how I do a carb sync with good results:

I would do the carb sync even before jetting, personally.

There was a big modification to intake and exhaust that happened here. Syncing carbs isn't going to do him a dick lick of good until the jetting is close. If the situation was close to stock set up I'd agree, but with the drastic change in intake and exhaust the jetting needs to be changed before syncing will help at all...

Well I have already order the 140 mains, and I will see how the bike responds to that...I also changed the oil, and new plugs....So if she takes off like a bat out of hell...then we'll call it good. When I pulled my plugs...they were black with white at the tip...so they were firing very well.
