Floatbowl vent tubes exit to open air, and are often routed to underneath the seat.

Drain tubes are usually seen attached to the floatbowl overflow nipples, and are often routed over the swingarm to exit underneath the bike.

The ??? in former post might be a separate vent line for the left carb floatbowl.

I don't understand the question about the "strange bolt" or where it's positioned on the pic.

Good Luck! :)

You can see in the picture where it is labeled fuel line inlet for both carbs is actually not an inlet but a metal bar that the parts diagram calls "joint". You can see where the bar is attached to, but the other end is supposed to be attached to the throttle pulley. you can see the round piece of metal above this area where this bar has to be attached to. It seems that these carbs have individual fuel inlets which was diagrammed as "???". My question is that this bar once attached to the throttle pulley makes the pulley unable to move. If it is attached the throttle can't open or close...so just wondering what the purpose of this bar is....

Guessing the following is correct (but possibly have fuel lines and vent lines reversed). And remain uncertain as "joint" #70.

So apparently this joint attaches the throttle pulley to another mechanism that opens and closes the throttle body. Unlike most carbs where the throttle pulley is directly attaches this one seems to use this metal joint. So after figuring this out I tried to forcibly move the throttle bodies open and close and it worked, it does move. But...and this is a huge but....it takes A LOT of force to open and close them. So it makes me think that once i attach the throttle cables its going to take a lotta effort to open and close the throttle. Any suggestions in how to make this part more movable>?
