Careful though, if you heat it too much it sort of just bulges out around the top as you try to push it down. If that happens to you, let it cool a bit and it should go on easier.

Why is it no good for bikes? Seems to work fine on mine. Do I need to change it?Go to a dealer or autozone or any place similar you can get 1/4" fuel line, no problem, but it will be high pressure auto hose with 2/3" OD. No good for bikes.

Thinner walled fuel line allows for more flexibilty for routing purposes. And being more flexible, it's also less likely to pull a barbed fitting loose or off when you remove it. :S
