I ran this on my 650 for a couple of years with absolutely no leaks.

I eventually had to replace this petcock, since a piece of debris etched the inner petcock surface just behind the lever and it was slowly dumping fuel into the carbs and causing the #1 carb to overflow.
I bought new float needle/seat sets the same time as I bought the new petcock (=$$$$ ouch! :pinch: ) to cure that prob as well. :whistle:

BTW, this winter I had to install the chrome Custom Petcock sold by Z1? But I don't like it hitting the air box with the hose. :S



Anybody tried removing the nipple and taping in 90 degree elbow on one of these? If so what sizes worked or didn't work for you? :dry:
