34's are a good all around carb but i found them to have that off idle/crusing bog that is bothersome.

pictures of your carbs would really help.

i would go with the 28's if you cannot get smoothbores.
plus we all run 36 or bigger flatslides here.( our crew)
awesome power but it will cost you.

btw shane, i still am upset with you for stealing them 29's and a ported head for $105.

kawtoy is without a doubt the luckiest bastard i ever met!
sun shines on a dogs ass somedays! :P :P  :woohoo:  :woohoo: :P :cheer: :side: :pinch:

( oh yeah, he didn't even have to pay for shipping! the seller was 30 minutes from us!. god i hate him! :P  :woohoo:   :P     :( :P )

i have Mic. vm33's (they actualy measure 34mm)on my 1135cc motor, with porting and 37.5 intakes. i feel they are as big as u would want. they screem on top, and hesitate bellow 3000rpm if u wack it hard.but u would not normaly go wot from 3000 so u never notice any issues at all.u could use these on a 900cc motor.

A good(best of both worlds compromise) would be a set of 28s with accelerator pump.#20 pilot jets and #120 main jets to start then tune from that.
