How about ZRX carbs or Bandit carbs?

Anybody tried this? They're easier to find in decent shape cause they aren't so old.
The ZRX ones have an electronic thing on the side and I dunno what it does. Just thinkin...

a bit of research reveals that the ZRX electronic thing is a throttle position sensor for the computer, elec ignition, etc. Soooo... I'm guessing I can ignore it, plug it, snip it, whatever.
But you're still going to have to worry about spacing on the ZRX carbs. Kz and oil cooler Gsxr/Bandits have carbs 1-2 and 3-4 paired while the ZRX and the ZX11 which the motor is based from has the carbs evenly spaced.

I've also seen ebay pictures that clearly show the middle gap is bigger than the sides. I just have to measure mine now.

As far as the Bandit 1200 carbs, not really sure. The carb holders are angled a bit on the Bandit head so the cylinder spacing isn't really the issue. Same holds true for the earlier GS750/850 using BS34 carbs... The carb holders for 2&3 are canted towards the middle of the rack and while you can force-fit a set, it is really hard to get a good seal.
The TPS on the Bandit carbs is essentially a vacuum line going to the igniter box. This vacuum varies and tells the box how to adjust the ignition advance. Pretty much the same TPS arrangement is on the Kaw Vulcan as well. I suspect it could easily be removed.
The worst thing about the Bandit 36mm Mikunis on the Bandit are the sync ports. All are VERY tiny using 1/8" plugs and it is almost impossible to recap the sync ports after sync-ing those carbs... The ports are located under the choke arm mechanism and all point out to the left side of the bike. Stupid arrangement. The carbs work pretty much like BS34s otherwise.

I now have ZRX1200 carbs (ebay $150) these are 36mm.I don't use the butterfly sensor. All that was required was the main jet changed to 132 and the pilot to 40.5. With 1080 MTC pistons Z1000J valves and mild speedway cams this things flies ( 11.3 1/4mile) and the fuel economy is around 58mpg (australian) at a steady 110kph.

That bike has some great parts adapted to it. We need some details Bozo.
Those Keihin CVKs are great carbs on my ZRXs, been wanting to do this for a while now.
I'm seeing aluminum adapter plates bolted to your head, what intake manifolds are you using? I was thinking of adapting the Rex manifolds in a similar fashion if the J model manifolds won't work.

When I added the ZRX carbies the difference was remarkable and it definitely showed. In the matter of fact I got caught out and nearly lost my grip on the bars but you couldn't wipe the smile off my face for a month.
