You never mentioned if this bike was air shifted, if it has a slick or bar, what RPM your leaving at - These all make a difference at the finish line. As far as the original question I believe most guys are running a 15/36 combo (that's how mine is geared)
Also it sounds like your not hitting it hard enough off the line.
If you are hitting the traps @ 97mp, but the bike is still pulling then something is missing. Air box or pods ?... main jet size ?... petcock delivery ?... rider in excess of 300 lb's -(just kidding). Good Luck to you.....
Yes air shift, slick and bar. Im still learning to launch the bike i am not leave hard at all, which im sure are all factors. Now the engine is back out i believe my biggest problem right now is missing horsepower, gotta get that corrected first.
Well the cam bearings. Seems i have two different manufacturers of the bearing mixed together. There is a definite difference in the quality of the bearings. As i recall i had to buy from two different places to get a full set of bearing. Knowing what i know now i would have left the originals in the engine, guess its all part of the learning experience. Best you can do is learn from your mistakes and move forward, I am definitely going to check the clearances when the head gets back from FBG.
