Hello.

Just pulled my advancer due to no spark, both arms broke at the spring. Anyone have one for sale?

or know if a KZ400 timing advancer would work?  They look almost identical, but am not sure....

stock 750B twin ignition is 5 degrees at idle and 30 degrees at 3750RPM. Stock KZ400 is 10 degrees at idle and 40 at 2800RPM. The later model kz750K (1983) used electronic ignition that was 10 at idle and 35 at 3750RPM.  so you are probably OK using a KZ400 ignition, however I seem to remember the bolt that holds on the advancer is smaller on the KZ400 so you will have to sort that out, i would listen for any pinging the first couple rides to make sure you are not getting any spark knock. Dunno what your budget is but there are aftermarket options available or you can try and find the KZ750K electronic ignition but when they pop up on ebay they are usually fairly expensive. I ditched the stock ignition on both my 750 twins and never looked back. (sorry dont have the old parts) the extra advance really wakes these bikes up.
