OK got a new "timing chain" grinded down one of the pins and tapped it out, then I tided a wire to the end of the chain and feed it through the crank chain area, then I joined the chain back with another pin, hamered the ends and grinded them so it won't slip out and made sure it moved easly, Easy peasy! Didn't have to split the engine or anything. thanx for all the help guys but i guess i'll always want to be a mcgyver and fix things the different way.
