11 Feb 2025 18:35 - 11 Feb 2025 18:39Very nice! I found the old post kzrider.com/forum/13-bike-related/598407...nth?start=720#749128I did the same to my Z1r, the GPZ900R slave fits to the original clutch cover with very minor modification I posted this on forum approx 12years ago). The other Bike "hybrid GPZ1100" has a different mechanism to the clutch rod using ball bearings/ cable, I actually found this to be a better system
Made an adjustable clutch rod for testing. The rest of the slave mounting hardware will be in tomorrow.

I drilled threads out of the cover for testing. these could be flathead screws
inside
outside. Ill find something better, but these work for now (10mm socket doesnt fit inside clutch adjustment cover). mk1 Kz1000 and 650/750 dont have this issue
chain clearance to push rod. Adjustable clutch rod with set screw to lock in place.
clearance to chain guard. I modified the internal spring as the slave would hit the chain guard when actuated.... could shave the guard, but eh...
Ill test it out soon. maybe the weekend? No reason why it wouldnt work, though. And I need to look at the mk1 1000 and 750 versions to see if those work properly

Looks like it will get the job done, how do you plan to hold the piston during bleeding ?

14 Feb 2025 08:21I'll find something around the shop to limit travel. Maybe bolt the cover to a piece of plywood and then something to brace the piston off of that.Looks like it will get the job done, how do you plan to hold the piston during bleeding ?
If necessary.... As I have a vacuum bleeder.
