I just found 10 old NGK B7ES plugs and cleaned them off. Saved a ton of money. Have to confess, used soap and water, carb cleaned and a wire brush to clean them andget the oil off. Now they are sitting on a hot home radiator drying out.

Wire brush and contact cleaner. Why is this so complicated?
No one said it was complicated. I simply asked of the forum, what approach ppl take when cleaning spark plugs. Simple.

Me Neither.Never fouled a plug in any four stroke I ever owned.
I get that it's just easier to replace them, but I've never found any difference between new plugs and ones that I cleaned.Dr. Gamma post=879742 userid=40966

With a spark plug cleaner.
I have one mounted to my wall just above my compressor. They cost 20-30 bucks. I have multiple bikes, tractor and a bunch of yard equipment. So its paid for itself many times over.

I put them on a bag of marshmallows and shake it around. Spark plugs come out shiny brand new! Thanks for your thoughts!
