KZ1000 rear sprocket cosmetics ?
13 Feb 2022 18:47
Hi all,
my rear sprocket is off the wheel, cleaned and scrubbed up in Simple Green, and it currently looks like this.
Any thoughts on what can make it better ? Looks like it was painted steel and some of the paint wore off.
Again, I ain't going for concours glamour, but if there is a quick way to improve the look, I'm all ears.

Maybe a fine steel wool.
I used fine steel wool and sandpaper on my rear wheel, as it was quite dirty.
I wouldn't worry too much about the rear sprocket though, as they tend to get dirty quickly.

I plan on swapping mine out with an alloy sprocket but will probably do a 530 conversion at the same time.
