Yes y’all are correct, the pins that engage the weights have been broken off by the previous owner or maybe rust. But those definitely are the correct weights. Can you pm me and we can discuss how much you want for them and shipping and all of that? Those pins were actually broken when I pulled the whole assembly off, I just figured they were to ensure the rotor did not spin too far. Then once it clicked that there were slots for the dyna rotor to go in that those were actually broken off.
if you don’t mind I’d take the ones with the springs, as mine are slightly buggered as well.
You got them. The springs are a little heavier for the larger weights so not useable for others.
PM me and make me an offer that is if you are in the lower 48. I sent a kickstand to France and it was a PITA.

I can’t thank you enough! Only issue I saw with the video was the original rotor was still on the shaft with the pawls broken off. The dyna is what is going on it. Other than that, fantastic video! Once again thanks for the help sir!

Out for Delivery. That was quick. Those little circlips can go SPROIIING easy so I suggest taking them off on a towel in a corner. Those little buggers are hard to find and like to hide under things. Pics of your progress?

I’ll post up a YouTube video that shows how I did it but she lives now. Now to final tune the carbs and we will be set. I put on the advance weights and it fired right up. One question for you all. When I change the oil, the new oil doesn’t come up to the oil level window. I put 3.5L = 3.7Quarts I think the previous owner put too much oil in it because the window was full before I changed it, now it doesn’t.

If you bike has a centerstand put the bike on that. Check when the oil is cold. Start up the engine and run it for a couple of mins and then shut down. Check oil level after a few more mins.
Sometimes when the oil is nice and clean it can be over the window and fool you into thinking there is no oil.

I think Ed is right. I've done it. No more than 4 QTs. Start it up and the filter should take some then check again.

Like Ed said, run it a bit, then park it on the center stand for a few minutes or overnight before checking the level.

I’m guilty of this exact same simple mistake. It turned into a few choice words and the messiest oil change I’ve done. Not my proudest moment.Sometimes when the oil is nice and clean it can be over the window and fool you into thinking there is no oil.

Sorry for the late replies and MIA for a few days. We just had to move and I haven’t had much time to mess with the bike. I had a video of my routing and wiring but YouTube wouldn’t upload it because my iPhone had taken it weird so looks like I can’t post that up. Bike runs now. I’ve been able to put a few miles on it(134 miles) and I’ve kinda been doing plug chops intermittently. My high speed plugs look decent, maybe slightly lean but not soot black or ultra lean so that’s good. My idle plugs don’t look the best, slightly rich. I’ll throw up some pics of the chops later when I get a break from unpacking.
