I answered a lot of questions for other members but now i have to ask here about this.
Do some readings in a Haynes manual for the 72 - 78 Zed models and found a pic with a mysterious pin
in the output shaft. Does anybody knows something about this pin and his function?
The Kawasaki service manuals shown nothing about this pin in the output shaft.

Never seen that before. Must be another bike. Notorious for being inaccurate.

That's right. The pump is driven by the countershaft. Never had one. There was always a oil spot under Jim's bike but not mine or Larry's. Leaked like a Harley.
