but if the bolt with the spring is stuck open, i will have a reduction in oil pressure?
The oil filter bolt has what's called a bypass valve built in (spring and ball). If this valve is stuck open oil will still flow normally, only the filter will be bypassed. Of bigger concern is the relief valve in the oil pan. If that sticks open, you won't have any oil pressure.

If no pressure then your oil light would come on anyway
I'm betting no problem

Rotilla 15/40. To set your mind at ease, use a gauge to check it. It would be nice to see how the oil pressure works at different RPM's.

With the engine shut off the oil level can be seen and measured.
With the engine running oil can be seen flowing down the rear portion of the sight glass.

I was referring to the oil light or oil pressure warning light on my tach - red light on when ignition is on, off when engine running and oil has pressure. Never saw a need for an oil pressure gauge. If red light comes on when engine running that is warning enough.

I found a bit of metal scrap in the pan, veru little.
I cleaned all but the real question is: should i have a rubber gasket in the big circle of the oil pan , where the pan contact with the casing?
In my engine this was always missing
I dont mean the oring that goes in the filter cap, but in the inner if the sump.
