Sight glass nightmare

Hello, after my crank disaster i dismantled and rebuild again the engine. All is sweetest but now i noticed that when the engine is running the oil level in the sight glass initially become low, then i can See oil flowing in the glass. Yesterday i took a look to the same thing but i can swear oil sight glass was empty while engine is running, and full when the engine is Not running.
What can be that? Why i have oil return in the sight glass with engine running? Help

That's normal. As long as the oil level is where it should be while off, you'll be OK. That reminds me, I need to pick up some oil. Mine is at the bottom of the glass.

Because i can swear the oil has ever totally disapperead from the sight glass while engine is running.
Maybe its because oil is so hot today.?
I dont have a pressure warning light on my model. I have only a stupid oil level sender unit in the front, at the bottom of the oil pan.
I had fear about the pressure relief valve stuck open or somethung Like that.
What is for the steel ball and spring in the oil filter bolt?
I m too scared to ride

If you see oil in the sightglass while running shut it off fast. Something isn't right.

Oil disappear from the glass, but in the rear of the glass, in the flat metal line of the behind of the glass i See oil return down.
What can i check?

Check oil pressure using a gauge.

Since i have to do the first oil chance after rebuild i think the best thing to do is checking the bypass bolt of the oil filter. If it can be the problem.
What happen if the bypass above is stuck open?

Buy a gauge if you are worried. To measure is to KNOW.

The sight glass is supposed to be empty when running the bike.

The oil pressure relief valve is located in the oil pan. You will have to drop the pan and inspect the valve to be sure the spring and check valve is not fouled. Checking oil pressure is an easier/better method than dropping the pan in my opinion.

i think your absolutely right. i have to call a friend to see if i can get this gauge for some hours.
what about the bolt for the oil filter? what i should check there?
i did some hundred miles, so i have to change oil anyway.

The pump relief valve is 24 in the attached link. The oil filter valve is (I think) in case your oil filter is clogged, which clearly won't be the case.

of course, the filter is new as the orings ang gaskets in the oil pan.
but if the bolt with the spring is stuck open, i will have a reduction in oil pressure?
