Hi Guys -
Now that I've been riding my modded '82 GPz1100 more, I want to richen it up just enough to get rid of the cold-bloodedness.
I remember the resistor mod, where people would put bullet connectors on a resistor and plug it into the line going to the head temperature sensor, but I don't have the info in my archives.
When I bought it, with no modes other than a period-correct Kerker pipe it wasn't cold blooded.
Now that it's 1136cc with higher compression, and a '84 Head & cams it now requires warming up, and cruising hot it has a slight lean surge sometimes. I'd be afraid to take it to a lower altitude for fear of running it too lean and hot.
Anybody know what parts I'll require?

I did a google search on the mod and it turned up a LOT of hits, some even from here.

** Update **
My big Kawi is running good again - I took off the seat, lifted up the tank, and 'voila I see a wire broken off of the airbox temperature sensor.
So I took it off, took it into the table, took an exacto knife and a soldering iron and cleared enoug plastic away so I could put a dab of solder on it, then I went to Radio Shack, got some 680 ohm residtors and put one in the line, put it back together and now my bike is running good again.
I don't know how long my patch will hold, so I guess I'll start scrounging for a better sensor.

Good you are still running on EFI, seems like the B2 was a lot more developed than the B1.
