How many times can you re-use cam plugs if at all?

Not sure about the twin but on my 650 the newer revised 1111 plugs don't have the angled part that you see on the bottom outside of your pic so they are 3/16 of a inch or just under shorter than the head..... I bought them from Z1 and partzilla both and they were both the same no angled part so that's why I had to re use mine..... no billet ones available for ours as far as I know.

1978 KZ650 b-2
700cc Wiseco kit 10 to 1.
1980 KZ750 cam, ape springs, stock clutch/ Barnett springs.
Vance and Hines Header w/ comp baffle and Ape pods, Dyna S and green coils, copper wires.
29MM smooth bores W/ 17.5 pilots, 0-6s and 117.5 main
16/42 gearing X ring chain and alum rear JT sprocket.

The angled part helps keep them in. I never had a OEM one come out.

The ones on the KZ650 can never come out. They each have a cylinder head cover bolt running straight through them. Ed

Off topic, but Ed, I love every time you post a picture of your bike. Looks brand new. B)

I've spent hours with mr. clean magic eraser, cans of brake clean, and scotch brite pads and cannot come close!

Looks like the 750 twins don't have end-bolts through the plugs. Good to know.
Did the 1000 or 1100 eventually get them? My buddies ST leaked like a MF. His did not have the end-bolts.
