Where's the carbon from?

Had the carbs off way too many times tuning, and whenever I looked in the port I would see droplets hanging from the guides, after normal riding. Is that normal to have fuel droplets there, or was it oil from around the guides. It stuck around for a long time. Would have thought it would have evaporated on a hot engine if it was fuel.

Yeah, I'm gonna figure out a good way to pressure test around the guides to confirm.

This happened immediately after running a new engine. I think there was oil consumption, and the carbon was enough to kill a piston. The guides being the source also doesn't make sense because there was no blue smoke on start up, but oil got dark quick, like a blow-by issue.
