In the last 2 rebuilds over the last 10 years I have had perfect luck with Cometic Gaskets and my motor is subjected to over twice the power yours will be.

I've begun to track down and tally up all the parts ill need to replace in the top end and whoaaah did it add up quick. Close to $600 so far. So Im currently trying to find some OEM gaskets on ebay as oppose to paying $45 a piece for head gaskets (2)!. Anyways, this may be a stupid question, but since my #1 and #4 cylinder compression was near perfect, instead of ordering 4 sets of rings at $50 a set, can i just replace the #2 & #3? Sorry if thats a stupid question but ive just always replaced all rings anytime i do the top end on a bike, and didnt know if there was any reason you couldnt do just the lower compression cylinders. Thanks in advance.

Replace them all. Could have been valves or sticky rings. You won't regret it. Pics? Check out my good guys thread for gaskets.

Thanks steve,
Guess ill just bite the bullet and buy 4 new sets.
Also just for anyone else with a LTD L1 model, they take different rings than all other 1100 models. All others take part# 13008-5037 which can be found plenty of places, but the LTD model calls for part# 13008-5055 which ive only found a few places. Just note worthy for anyone with an LTD.

What would you like pics of steve?

with those compression numbers i wouldn't be messing with the rings..
you can replace the 2 piece head gasket with a one piece one.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI don't know if this Cometic head gasket fits your needs, but it's reasonably priced
if not, you can contact the seller & see if he has what you need
