Valve deposits look quite normal to me, take them out and look further or put some gas in the combustion chamber and see if it leaks out through the valvs. Difficult to check bores from pics, I prefer a fingertip feel test. The pistons too look ok except the quite bad localised scuffing... no apparent oil burning behind the rings, did you clean them up before taking pics?

If one big end is loose then if you can feel it up and down play then no need for precision measurement here...it is stuffed. Shell bearings can be replaced, but it has likely taken the crank journal out. This probably won't be a cheap fix unless you can score decent used parts. good luck

I used my finger tip in the bores and there as smooth as can be with no signs of scoring or anything. And i did not clean them up, they appear to be in good shape. What does stuffed mean? And with the rod being that loose can that be the the cause of all this noise coming from the motor?

Stuffed is a polite way of saying the pooch is screwed.

Yuuuup. That would be it for sure.

Decent chance the mains and journals are done for. Had you put alot of miles on it with the engine noise/bad shells?

Best of luck mate! Hope everything else didn't get too beaten up before you had it apart.

The bearing material is softer than the crank. Maybe/just maybe, you didn't "stuff" the crank.

Yeah I agree....
I've had rods seized and main bearings trashed on journals and still be able to polish the journals out with medium-fine and fine emery cloth, installed new plain bearings and be off like a champ the next day.
On street driven machines, it takes a major seizure and hard spun plain bearings, ....right down past the copper and into the steel backing to really tear up a journal. They are pretty tough.

ADDED:
I forgot to mention... with all the debris flying around after filtering... you really should replace all the plain bearings now because it is SUPER easy to do!!

The crank was scored a litte where that rod was. The rest of the crank and others bearings were in good shape. I tore this thing apart just in time I think. Replaced the bearings and cleaned all of the metal out of the case now she fires right up and no more obnoxious noises :cheer: but now it vibrates soooo bad! I triple checked everything while putting this thing back together. Idk what im missing ..

Did you check for a bent rod? Does it have a counter balancer?
