Can you find a link for some new valve guide seals? I found some on ebay but they are viton are these worth it? the spacers and everything looks new. did a leak test and there was bubbles so I will be lapping the valves.

Get the Vitons. They don't harden like the stock ones. Avoid NOS rubber. They're 30-40 years old already, not worth the time and money.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationAwesome thanks much. I need to find some piston rings also. and is seems everyone has them labeled 76-78 I dont see any for the 79 also for a gasket kits so I am confused. Is there another twin besised a b? they look the same to me.

1976 Kawasaki KZ750-B1
1977 Kawasaki KZ750-B2
1978 Kawasaki KZ750-B3
1979 Kawasaki KZ750-B4
1980 Kawasaki KZ750-G1
1982 Kawasaki KZ750-M1
1983 Kawasaki KZ750-K1
1984 Kawasaki KZ750-K2


Courtesy of KZr member steell:
76-79 KZ750 were the "B" model, single disc front and rear with wire spoke wheels.
1980 KZ750G, pretty much the same as the "B", but with rear drum brake and mag wheels.
1981 KZ750 twin models don't exist.
1982 KZ750M1 CSR, same motor as the "B" and "G", with air injection into the exhaust, with wire wheels and rear drum brake.
1983 KZ750K1, same as M1 except for belt drive.
1984 KZ750K2, Canada only, same as K1.

I called z1 they dont stock the twin gasket kit anymore. Im positive the one im looking at will work. I have a 79 750g with the mag wheels and rear drum brake. engine is b3

Here is the Athena set available. That's the one I bought and the blue colored gaskets failed rapidly.

Vesrah is supposed to be better than Athena, but I have not used Vesrah personally.

here is my build thread. So i am confused, the athena set is the one you bought or the one from ebay? which set did the gaskets fail on is what I mean. Because I would pay extra to get gaskets that wont .
