Not at all. The frame is perfectly fine. That is what is titled in the eyes of the state.

2000 ZRX 1100
1976 KZ 900- Daily Driver
1980 LTD 550- Dalton Highway survivor!

If it has tits or tires, it'll give you problems!

I don't mean to scare you with this- but stamping your own numbers is a felony.
Don't mess with it- just leave it alone.
I read through all of these laws when I was trying to get my custom build titled.

It's called falsifying/altering. It IS a felony. Some low lives steal current tags, then wonder why they are going to prison for a little sticker. WAAAH!!! :(
