I got a chill up and down my spine every time I thought about installing my new 700cc wiesco's dry so I oiled em up with a few drops on each ring, skirt and cylinder and plan on some med hard middle rpm range pulls for the first 25 to a hundred miles to seat em.
One of the few questions I didn't ask Jay cause if he would have said dry I would have had to ignore it.
Got lucky 3 of the four top rings check out at 8.5 thousands and one at 6 so I only had to grind the one to get a near perfect 8.5 on all. 2nd rings read between 11.5 and 13 so I left them alone too. Praying in a few weeks it starts and runs fine.
