Me to but the motor has under 10,000 mile's on it.

OMR it was easyer to get the complete set then
pick gasket's one by one.
I needed the paper for the out side of the motor
plus the left over's is what I need to reseal
the 650 motor I took out

Zukiworks racing ported head.
VM 29 smooth bore's.
Dyna 2000 Ign. w/Dyna mini coil's
APE cylinder stud's and nut's.
APE valve spring's.
APE Track King clutch.
V/H KZ1000 sidewinder.
3.5x18 laced to a KZ1000 disk hub.
150/60/18 Shinko 006 Podium.
63" wheel base.

No doubt on that one regarding a gasket kit vs. individual pieces... ;)

I did (& will continue to do so) the same on both engine builds but junked the valve seals on the second build... Seals just didn't hold up and started leaking quickly. Possibly just a bad set...

back together this morning.

Nice 37* this morning and no heat in the shop.

Got my motor back together today.
For the pic. whore's.

Loading the shift drum and fork's in the lower case.


Case and clutch hub back on.

A little insurance.

Then pop a top ready to go back in the frame in the morning.

I rode it to the bar for a beer this afternoon. 8) 8)

First easy ride up the street to see if the gear box worked right
the clutch was dragging real bad but got better as I rode it.
I had used a scotch brite pad on an angle grinder
to clean up the hot spot's on the clutch steel's.

Ride back from the bar (5 back street block's) stopped and
did a few 8000 rpm launch's sliding the clutch out just under the tire spin.
Now the clutch works just like it did when I took it apart.
