Seen this before! A friends pro street bike lowered too much snagged it pulling in a driveway. Should have had the APE low profile oil filter cover. It did after I changed the cases.
Over 30 years with z1's, Currently down to only one 75, a j model dragbike, and 2 KZ1000 dragbikes.

I seen one broke, pulled bar off protire bike and did launch, wasn't the mans brightest moment! Bike slammed into the street. :sick:

I always had to steer my 1327 around speed bumps to avoid dragging my pipe with the 10 1/4" shocks,Id always lift the ass end anytime I had to load it into a truck or trailer B)

The guy who designed this oil plate and bolt setup is a dumbazz. He needs to have some bamboo slivers shoved under the finger nails.

Ya my bike will sit up decently after its all together but after seeing this i think i might invest in a low profile set. Sorry to hear bout your bad luck. I hate it when stupid stuff like that happens.

It wasn't because the bike set's low
it's got 5" under the bolt on flat ground.
The break over angle coming up the ramp and me pissed at
the drunk G/F and coming up the ramp a little to fast is what caused it.

I think if it had a button head and not the hex
it would have slid over the lip and not broke.
