I would be interested in a second video as you mentioned a few posts back and in hearing the "model T horn" sound . Model T horn perfectly describes the sound my 1980 750/4 makes on start up. Not all the time but for sure a few times a week. This has been going on for the last 8 years and does not cause me concern any more. Perhaps I should be concerned :S Maybe my starter clutch will die when the snows melt in March and I try to fire it up for another season.....but then again sometimes ignorance is bliss.
Good luck if decide to get it done professionally

hi jr!..
being a lassie i can't juggle these engines like you strong guys!
i've no choice as i don't want to mess the engine up with 'lack of knowledge,
special tools and no info on tricks of the trade'. Everyone has limitation.
However the old kaw is going to a nice place for a few hours for this little repair.
It will only cost about £60 brit pounds. How much to replace your engine
if the mechanics weren't done to spec!...? I think it's logical to do it this way.
i've contacted some bike shops who advised me 'we don't work on old bikes!'
our kz's are 100% better than the plastic rockets!.. with plastic parts
and power rangers!
kind regards and thanks!
