Standard compression is 128~156psi
Minimum = 100psi (but may actually run pretty good with less)
Best if difference between cylinders is less than 14psi.
#4 exhaust valve needs a thinner shim.

Good Fortune! :)

COOL thank you very much patton :) Now.. sorry to ask question after question.. how do i remove the shims? Do i have to pop the cams out? Im sure i have the procedure on setting timing in my clymer and i think i know how to set the cam chain tensioner. It looks like i would have to remove the lifter and the shim would be under that? Or is the shim just sitting right on top?

Once again,
Thanks guys.

in a stock kz, the shim is on top of the bucket. the shim sits into a recess .
u will see a notch in the rim of the bucket. a special tool fits into the notch. then u compress the bucket a wee bit with the tool and then pick the shim out from on top of the bucket.
look up the procedure in your manual and u will see what i mean.

There is no need to take the cams out, unless someone has changed the buckets to the shim under bucket style.
They would only do this if they wanted to add high lift cams.

oh nooo!!! Well i figured rings never perfectly sealed the cylinder. And i was probably pumping way more that 130 PSI in there. There was a slight hiss but nothing bad

Heres the 2nd video

The chattering you are hearing is probably the timing chain and not the vlaves. It looks like all your valves are really tight so they would not be the source of the chattering.
