Do you recommend using anti-sieze lubricant? My plugs are a pain to remove sometimes.

yep....All metals have a property called nobility. It is a measure of a metal's resistance to corrosion when in contact with another metal. A greater relative difference in nobility between the two metals in contact indicates a greater corrosion potential. Alum is a 1 while steel is a 4....so a corrosion potential is high between cyclinder and spark plug.....when you use an antisieze...it conditions the two metals and keeps them apart while creating a lubed surface that makes removal and install easy without galling. Always install plug by hand not with wrench untill it bottoms out...I would also use a torque wrench to set final torque per manual specs.

It wasn't until I used the anti seize stuff that that one ruined the threads while I was putting in the plug. on the other hand I couldn't pull the other one out more than halfway and it wouldn't go in either so the outer ones have been screwy for a while. that stuff is good for using a spark plug thread chaser also. :side:
