The factory petcock has a lever and an on, prime and reserve position, no off because the vacuum or lack of it shuts it off. As expensive as the factory rebuild kit was 12 years ago Id personally put a Pingel on it. The bike will run perfect with a 4-1 and a stock airbox with stock jetting. I bought mine brand new & put a $100 RC Engineering 4-1 pipe on it when it was a year old and its still on there. The small stock pilot jets clog very easily so keep fresh gas in it. If theres anything I can help you with just let me know
