I saw this same info, but this is one area where the Kawasaki.com data has errors. The tensioners definitely are not the same across those models. I would suggest supplying a picture of the tensioner in question; maybe that will help identify which flavor it is. Ed

He may have done the same as I. If you look at part #99996-1021 TENSIONER KIT Kawasaki.com shows it is used for all the models Patton listed. However, many of the individual parts in the kit don't fit some of the models listed because their tensioners are different. Very confusing. Ed

I referenced Tensioner Kit 99996-1021 instead of Cam Chain Tensioner 12049-1015. :huh:
