Glad I could help, sometimes you just have to look in the place that it clearly isn't, because they probably let some intern make their webpage who didn't know anything about motorcycles or the fact that a breather cover is unrelated to the transmission cover on there. Oh well.
Incidentally, I think my KZ is fine, but I know I have an old ZX that has exactly this problem, so you definitely aren't alone. And without ever having mentioned that bike on this forum, I've probably picked up enough general knowledge to solve that bikes problems far more than when I dug around other Kaw forums back when I was working on it.
