Pretty sure the twins use no inserts. The 750 twin has no inserts at all.DoubleDub wrote:

the first picture is the cap for the scored journal. All caps look good. and that is opposite ends on the cam shaft.gd4now wrote: Which cap picture is the one from the problem journal? Perhaps some excess sealer came loose and clogged an oil passage.Jay98 wrote: I saw no signs of anything that could scratch anything, but this easily could have been an old scar from a previous repair because the head had been resealed before. high temp gasket maker inside the edges of the head.
