I have a '78 Kz1000 A2 and my fsm says to run with SAE 10w40.
1978 kz1000 A2 with Kerker
1980 Z1 Classic with Kerker

i get that and other good oils at wal mart and change em a lot and change the filter a lot too...
they are a deal there and i can afford to change it often..

I've tried every OEM brand of mineral based oil and I don't notice any dam difference between them... I don't run synthetics in a wet clutch motorcycle engine, and I like Kawi 10w-40 becuase it's priced very reasonable, and my Kawi dealer is 15 min from my house. I run the Kawi oil in all my bikes reguardless of make, even in my chineese pitbike !
