Well ill get a good looksy under the valve cover some time soon. Ill post pics of the valves and the exhaust just to show you guys the crossover pipe that broke off. Point the lobes directly away from the buckets and see what you have for lash. If you have any that are too tight to get a .0015" feeler into, see if the bucket will at least spin.

Nope..LOL, I want to rebuild the motor on the 77 1000, but thought if I had one rebuilt then it would be a quick turnaround on the bike.
since I dont know if anything has been done to my motor, I would be waiting on parts once its down, and possibly machine time.
using my brain for something other than a helmet rack..
