gsxr750 carbs, with accel. pump. was created by notaduc
I keep seeing these referred to as VM29ss, they are 32mm flatsides from the UK gsxr750 1985-1986. From what I can tell they are TM series. Spacing matches KZ1000 head.

Anyone familiar with them?

If you have them , and want to get rid of them, I've been looking for set for my GSXR750.

Sorry not to be of any help otherwise

If you decide that you arent using them PM me. NO hurry, I was thinking of using them for a project that I won't be getting to for a while (GS1000S rep , using GSX750 motor/GS550 chassis). I've been trying to get a friend of mine in Ottowa to find me a set.

If you get a few minutes can you get some measurments for me?

I need spacing (center to center)between intake spigots and OD of spigots. My motor is actually a 2000 Katana 750, I just want to make sure that the spacing is the same, and that they didnt change the casting.

Thanks

I will likely keep them as I paid too much for them.

The motor side od is 38, the filter side is 50mm, spacing is 77-90-77

Thanks for the dimensions. I have a set of RS34's that I can use, but I have been looking for a set of those GSXR carbs. Where did you find that set?

Very!! I've been running them on my 1075 for years. They were also on Canadian models and were called "slingshot" carbs. If you put GPZ flanges on the head they bolt right up. Cable routing is a bit of an issue as the cables will hit the KZ tank. You have to carefully bend the cable mount forward to help them clear. You'll need to get someone to make you custom cables as well. Also, keep in mind these carbs were designed to work in a semi-downdraft application so you will have to set the float heights accordingly. I believe I had to set the floats a bit lower(lower fuel level) to keep them from constantly overflowing.

I have all the jetting specs I used but that may be different for your application but at least you will have a starting point. I also have a tuning manual for them that I could copy for you. I know all this sounds complicated but it's worth in in the end. These things run great on my bike once jetted correctly.

I also suggest you use the "constant torque" style hose clamps. They work perfectly and easily and you will need a good clamp because you will be taking these carbs off a few times until you figure out your jetting. Plus they look cool as hell! :P Try to find them with allen socket or philips head.

Let me know if I can help with anything else.
