The guy in the video is looking at a fuel pressure gauge mounted under the seat... he's not looking at the back wheel.

Yes, it is a very dangerous practice having fingers or rags around any moving parts.

A friend of mine was telling me about a customer at the dealership he works at had just bought a new Ducati Sport Classic. The bike had less than 1k miles on it when he thought it would be a good idea to wipe it down with a rag while it was running. Bottom line Belt driven cams and rags don't mix. the rag got sucked into the gap in the belt cover belt causing the belt to slip on the cam drive and smacking the valves into the piston. It cost the guy $1100 to have it fixed since it wasn't covered under warranty. Lesson learned the hard way.

if its a silver 84 gpz1100 thats a major factory screwup,rather than forcing you to go through a long factory warranty process on a 26 year old bike id be willing to come take it off your hands for a price! :woohoo:
