I have the motor tore down all the way to the pistons, the pistons are clean and look like new. The piston rings are free and look new with no wear. The cylinder have no scratches or signs of wear either. It all looks like it was well taken care of. Very pleased how it all looks.

i would venture that motor has had someone inside it already....either that or someone was EXTREMELY anal about taking care of it for a while at least.....i tore my 78 ltd at 33k and it was junk inside.......to show no wear at 22k is strange.....do you know the history of the bike?

Hi how are you. Hope you are well I am giving you a up date on my bike and what happend I bent 4 of the valves. I had the head all done up with all new valves it was a bit of cash but well worth it in the end. now I have my bike a part what should I use to get the dull aluminum cleand up and get it back to a newer look. Im open for ideas thanks.
