Preaching to the choir here. It still amazes me that Dugout Doug is held up as one of the greatest generals from WW2. Giving him the CMH for that mess is just more than even a cynic like me could stand.

I guess it's true what they say: history is the particular pack of lies the winners of the war agree to set to pen.:huh:
