Reasonable Dyno results?

Right before I deployed, I had the bike dynoed at a local shop. I'll get around to posting the scans, but the peak horsepower was 90 on the dot. My bike is a 79 1000 LTD with the following mods: 10.25/1 1075cc, Mikuni VM29's w/ pods, APE .410 cams and springs, and a Kerker 4-1 w/ baffle. From your guys experience, does 90hp at the wheel seem right?
Thanks in advance for the advice.

"just reading up on the bike i picked up and kawi lists 92 stock....to bad...sounded too good to be true"...
Rear wheel or crankshaft numbers...
Larry and I spoke of this many moons ago pre-engine build and expected numbers... As in the example of the front of our service manuals gives torque and HP graphs.... The numbers for a stock 900 or ~ 80ish.... Those are Crankshaft numbers, not rear wheel....
Out of curiosity, what torque numbers came out of your Dyno run?

My 1150 "J" motor with .420 intake and .410 exhaust heavily ported 84 GPZ head is geared for top end I am putting a 40/18 (2.28:1) final drive ratio on it. A properly geared 750 would be able to jump away from it in a hole shot. But once we start to get any speed I will have the advantage all the way. Standard rear ratios for Kawasaki was 39/15 (2.6:1) for cruisers and 41/15 (2.73:1) for hi-performance bikes. some drag racers use 46/14 (3.29:1)
900 / 1000 KZ's were 35/15 while LTD's were 33/15.
39/15 gearing on a KZ 1000 is for wheelies...
Your gearing is for traveling very fast with a built motor like that. I keep wishing I had a 6 speed trans in my bike...

You can change the HP#s just by changing your rear sprocket. As OMR said, it is the torque #s that tell the story.
have to disagree, hp is purely a function of the work the engine performs in a given time, its unrelated to gearing.
In any case, 90 sounds good to me too.
