They are VITOn and that's the best you can get. It's way better than standard rubber seals.

I can guarantee that a bad seal will NOT cause severe smoking as shown in the video. When I rebuilt my 750, it had low compression in one cylinder due to valves and one of the seals in that cylinder was torn to shreds and had no "top" anymore. I had no noticable smoking but it did let oil leak down and foul the plug when I shut it off.

On the other hand, I recently replaced some valve seals (probably original!) that were so old and hard that they had to be literally chisled off! Plain rubber seals can be like that if they get real old.

You didn't answer if the cylinders had been deglazed. Any rings will have a hard time seating to glazed cylinders.

Yeah it just flat out looks like a @#$%ed up ring... oil control ring...
Or no valve seal at all?
GL.

MAYBE head gasket leak, right in the middle where the rubber gasket is supposed to go... around cam chain.

I did deglaze the cylinders.

I ordered a new gasket kit from Z1. I think it might be that middle rubber gasket around the cam chain. It looks like it might not have been seated right. That is why it was leaking in cylinder 2 and 3, right beside the rubber gasket. Going to replace the valve seals too, with the right tool it does not look that hard.

Your good TeK9iNe

Thanks guys
