Substitute GPZ for KZ in front of 750 and the odds will be much better. Put turbo after GPZ750 and see what happens ?

What kind of horsepower do you all think a kz750 would make with pods and a 4:1? Much more than the stock 78?

It will likely be slower in a 1/4 mile, and only have some extra horses up top.

1.Make it bigger.
2.Make it spin faster.
3.Make it more efficient.

I finished my 650 last year with modern igniiton, completely rebuilt carbs, jets, 4 into 1 Kerker with a semi-open baffle and tore the engine down to the last screw built it back up with a weisco kit. The bike can lift the wheel from a slow rolling start, leave nice long black mark if I pop the clutch. My brother has got a vintage panhead stroker with S&S internals, cams, etc. I own him, but his friend has a newer HD with a home built 133 inch motor, I can't keep up with that thing. Screaming Eagle... yeah can't touch those either. Those are pretty stout bikes by anyone's standards. I am gered to wind out at about 125-130 at maybe 11,000 revs or so. I think the best accelleration is from 20 to 80mph range.

I have riden 88 cubic inch bikes and I would say the small kawasaki 4's can out run them, the sportsters should be no challenge as the 1200 is even smaller. That is as long as the kawi's motor is strong.

Just my observation.

If I knew what I was doing all the time life wouldn't be any fun.

Jeff, They have this new invention out; it's called tires!   They have these little wiggly things called tread molded into them. I understand they now make them for motorcycles.
