The other adjustment is clutch pushrod sdjustment.

Just out of curisoity and maybe I missed it so I'll ask anyways...

In your shop manual, there should be a well defined section for specifications in measuring your clutch plates and springs with a caliper. Are they out of spec?

There's a trick I learned from Larry and Plummen, insert a spark plug washer on the springs behind the pressure plate for this will also add a little extra pressure thus plate bites...
