OK guys I will sacrifice a Molson to Crom and Mitra in hopes of preventing a need to replace THOSE seals.
Two old coots do not need to be delving into those shennanigans! ;) Thanks again but I got to tell ya those senarios scare me more than a Stephen King script. If bro was here he'd be tearing it into little bitty pieces right now and I'd feel safer than a baby in a bank vault. I think all I'd have to do is mention that we might have to split the cases and my friend would flatline.

Changing the pump's O ring should be easy. My pump is very easy to remove and the O ring is right under it. No worries.

I don't think you need to split the cases at all.

No crap! I tried on a pair and there is no way I could do anything. But they were easy to take off. Just rip em off. I'll get my hands dirty...that's what they made Lava soap and bristle brushes for.

Me too. That's why I was laughing when people were asking why I didn't post pictures from my starter clutch surgery. If I had touched my wife's digital camera with the grease I had on my hands, I would be typing from the afterlife.
